Tracking Classes

AKC tracking demonstrates a dog's natural ability to recognize and follow a scent. Any breed or mixed breed can take tracking classes, but only AKC registered dogs or dogs with an ILP or PAL number can be entered in AKC tracking tests. TVKC beginning tracking class starts in late April or early May, depending on weather and ground conditions. Tracking is a vigorous outdoor sport, so you and you dogr need to be in good physical shape and not mind rain, mosquitoes or bees.
